NSMF Position Specific Academy
The NSMF Football Training Academy is for all players in Atom, Peewee and JB. From 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Bear Creek Park, the young athletes will partake in a special weekly training program targeting specific fundamentals for each position. Top coaches from our association and special guest coaches will take the players through drills and teach them essential techniques to each position on the football field.
All coaches, managers and trainers are required to obtain a criminal record check as mandated by BCPFA. Stop in at the clubhouse for the required forms or download Criminal Record Check Form here.
Criminal checks are asked to be submitted to the NSMF office by July 16.

There will be a meeting for all NSMF Team Trainers at the clubhouse on Thursday, July 24 at 6:30 pm.
NCCP Introduction to Competition – Football $160
For coaches that are coaching athletes from 13-18 years old. Coaches will learn fundamentals and structure to improve their confidence and competence as a coach. One of the key components is the Safe Contact which is most critical for the contact game of football. Required 12-hour clinic. Includes instruction, manual, workbook and future evaluation.

Metro Safety is running a First Aid Level 1 Certification Course for NS Team Trainers this week at the Bear Creek Clubhouse.
Dates: Tuesday, July 29th & Thursday, July 31st
Time: 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm
Place: NSMF Clubhouse
Any trainers that would like to complete first aid training are asked to contact the clubhouse for details.
The course will not only certify you to Level 1, it will also offer sports specific training ie. taping.
