PSO Update to Covid-19 mandate regarding Volunteers – Effective Oct 26th, 2021

❗❗Please read ❗❗
Important mandate from our Provincial Sports body based on New guidelines introduced by the Province of BC related to Covid-19.

Dear North Surrey Family,

We have received an updated Provincial Health Order in regards to vaccine status requirements which is effective immediately.

* An adult must have received two doses of vaccine if the adult is leading, supervising or assisting with a program for
children or youth, whether the program takes place inside or outside.

* An adult who has not received two doses of vaccine must not lead, supervise or assist with a program for children or youth, whether the program takes place inside or outside.

These changes mean Executive members, football coaches, cheer coaches, managers, and volunteers on the field (sticks, commissioners, 10 play, any adults who are supervising or assisting with a football activity) are now required to show proof of FULL (Double) Vaccination. Our Executive and team staff will work with volunteers to ensure we are following all directives that we are advised by the BCPFA, VMFL & Viasport.

We understand how difficult new changes are, and we ask that all families respect the new mandate we have been given. We are coming to the end of regular season games and starting playoffs and we hope we can continue to let these kids play ball and have a great time.

Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
