BC Coaches Week

ViaSport and the BC Government have partnered to proclaim September 19 – 26 as BC Coaches Week. They are hosting special events all week long throughout the province to recognize coaches for their hard work and dedication. Free National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) workshops are being delivered by regional partners for up to 1,000 coaches as part of the celebrations.

There is also a contest component. British Columbians are encouraged to tweet or post a selfie of themselves and their coach on social media during Coaches Week by using the hashtag #ThanksCoach and tagging @CoachesViaSport on Twitter or @ViaSport on Facebook and Instagram for a chance to win a prize for their coach. Winners will be announced Monday, Sept. 28.
