Wednesday, December 13th
Finishing Trades Institute – FTI
12289 Industrial Road, Surrey
North Surrey Minor Football will hold its monthly meeting this Monday at the FTI (click name above for map) at 7:00 pm.
If you’d love to get involved, but can’t be an executive member, the association can always find something for you to help out with. If you have a particular expertise that would benefit the club (ie: carpentry, book keeping, foods & services, painting, electrical, any kind of merchandising, etc.) please come and let us know. We are always looking to expand our network or resources and for more people to pitch in.
As you have probably found out by now if you’ve been to Bear Creek Park recently, there was a fire at North Surrey’s Clubhouse in the early hours on Sunday, Nov. 19th. This fire was the second fire in 6 weeks and caused a considerable amount of damage.
While insurance will cover most of the repairs, there are many extra expenses that come with being relocated temporarily (packing, moving, storage, rentals etc.). We are looking to cover these cost with your help to avoid using our football funds normally reserved for gear, uniforms etc.
Our NSMF 2018 Cheer Queen and Princess were crowned November 17th. Congratulations to all 3 contestants Desirae Turner, Aja Cole and Victoria Deacon. All the girls did a fantastic job and the judges had a hard time with their selections.
Congratulations to the NSMF 2018 Princess Desirae and the NSMF 2018 Queen Victoria 👑.
Saturday, November 4th
Doors open: 5:30 pm
Join us for a fantastic night of fun at our only NSMF Fundraiser Event of the year. Proceeds from the event go back to the NS teams.

I hope everyone is looking forward to the Flag Jamboree this coming weekend.
Click below for the information package with the schedule and the format of play.
Coaches and parents: Please remember that this is a jamboree for FUN. We are not keeping scores and EVERYONE is getting gold medals at the end of the jamboree. Making sure that each and every player has an amazing time and wants to come back and play football next year is our goal. Teams have been grouped with teams that have had similar records over the season to ensure they have a good chance of having some successes.
A special thank you to all the following people and organizations that made our event not only possible, but a huge success:

Over the past few weeks, a lot of volunteer hours have gone into the makeover of the inside of our concession booth. Thanks to all the NS volunteers and a huge shout out of appreciation to Alan Martin at Toryhill Construction & Project Management Ltd. and Parm Dhaliwal and End of the Roll (King George & 78th) for the great work on the new concession floor.
It looks fantastic, come have a peek this weekend while you’re getting your NS Burger and Fries!

The BC Lions have donated tickets to NSMF for their Regular Season Home opener on June 24th against the Edmonton Eskimos as part of their Huddle Up Against Bullying program
Some of these tickets will be given our NSMF volunteers for the time they’ve donated to NS.
The remaining tickets are available to North Surrey Minor Football families and can be picked up at the clubhouse while supplies last.
It is with a heavy heart that we report that former NSMF T-Bird, Hawk and Eagle, Brandon Nestor passed away on the February 25, 2017 from a head injury after he collapsed in his home on February 11. Pictured here with his daughter, Ciarra, Brandon was only 22 when he passed. His whole family was involved at North Surrey with his step-dad, Darren, as a coach, his mom, Kelley coached cheer and his sister, Tiffany, was a cheerleader.
Brandon loved his 6 years playing for North Surrey so as a tribute to Brandon, his family will be having a balloon release at Bear Creek Park to celebrate his life as a player and one of his passions.
The balloon release will be held on April 29 2017, at 2:00 pm. Please come out to show your NS respect for one of our own.
