The BCCFA is proud to announce the 1st Annual BCCFA Zone Bowl to be held July 1st to 3rd, 2016 at McLeod Stadium, Langley open to Community and High School football players.

All five football zones will be participating in a weekend tournament with each zone being represented by a maximum of 2 teams per division. The following divisions will be participating:

Junior Bantam 2002, 2003 Gameday July 1
Bantam 2000, 2001 Gameday July 2
Midget 1997, 1998, 1999 Gameday July 3

Team tryouts are open to all Community and High School football players. They will be held in each Zone, please contact your Zone Representative listed below for more information regarding activities and tryouts for your area. There is NO COST to attend the tryout.

Junior Bantam

Sun. Feb. 21st, 4pm to 6pm – Newton Athletic Park, Surrey

Zone 2 Midget Head Coach: Howie Zaron
Sat. Feb. 27th, 6pm to 7pm – Mackie Park, Delta (behind Sands Secondary)
Sun. Feb. 28th, 4pm to 7pm – Newton Athletic Park, Surrey

After Selection

Should your child be selected for your Zone Team the cost is:

  • BCCFA Members – $165
  • Non BCCFA Members – $165 + $10 (insurance fee) = $175

For this fee, you will receive the following:

  • Zone jersey for the player to keep
  • Bagged lunch on tournament day
  • DVD of the tournament games
  • 4 practices, TBD by your head coach in your Zone

Team transportation funding, limited to Zones which must travel to Langley

The Zone Bowl 2016 will be carried out in a tournament fashion, game duration has been modified. Further details of game length, rules and other details will be provided to the Zone Representatives and Head Coaches closer to the tournament dates.

Coaches have been previously certified for safe contact, concussion awareness and coach ethics, Making Headway through FBC.
